The Soul of Chogokin is a Bandai‘s line and SPEC is their newest series that it started in 2007 and it is an expansion series to the original Soul of Chogokin (SoC) line. In this post I got the Soul Of Chogokin SPEC XS-04 EVA-00 new movie (Rebuild of Evangelion) version; this cool figure is made of plastic and metal die-cast parts, PERFECTLY detailed, approximately 8 inch tall, heavy, and big! I was looking for it everywhere but eventually I got it from amazon for about $70 or was it $80…? Yeah well, but it really worth every single penny and I can safely say it is one of my best figures I ever had!
Gouf is a Zeon‘s Mobile Suit piloted by Ramba Ral and it was first featured in the first Mobile Suit Gundam series during the One Year War. This is a 1/144 HGUC(High Grade Universal Century) model; It’s fun , easy, and I really enjoyed building it, or maybe I got better building Gunplas…?
Done with the right thigh and doing the right foot.
After this I’ll be done with the whole right leg.
Finished both legs and done with the lower body.
First part of the upper body is the right shoulder.
Both arms are built; didn’t include the right palm/fist because that will be installed later along with the weapon.
The head is an easy part to build but sticking the eye on is a delicate process.
Two months ago I posted about the cooperation between DELL and WORLD ORDER to promote their new tablet DELL Streak. The project is called Streak Man Project which was held at Tokyo Midtown on February 16.
A comparison video of Tokyo before and after the massive earthquake and tsunami that hit Japan last month. Darwinfish105 made this amazing time lapse video and you’ll notice billboards, buildings, and streets lights aren’t lit as before that tragedy to save power.

So here it is, the so hard to find in stock figure in reasonable price; which is the Revoltech Series No. 085 Grendizer from Kaiyodo. I was looking every where to get this one, looked in Hobby Search, Hobby Link Japan, Otacute, and a lot more other sites; although it was available in amazon.com and you could happily get it for about $80, but that didn’t felt good for me because I know it’s worth around $20 – $30. Anyhow, I ran out of choices so I decided to get it from amazon and in that time I was checking out some figures in Otacute.com and I just thought to give it a shot and search for Grendizer while I’m there and BOOM! it’s there, In Stock in few quantity for $28. Spontaneously I cleared it from my amazon’s cart and purchased it from otacute and here it is.
This is my second Gunpla I built, I didn’t post about my first, which was Zaku II FG, because with that I was just practicing my Gunpla, get myself into it and so I can avoid any mistake I did with Zaku in future kits. So, here it is the RX-78-2 Gundam Ver. G30th, building it was easy and fun. The scale is detailed, BUT, for sure you need to get into black or gray lining to give it its full detailed look, I haven’t ink it though, but I will do it later and post the final touch photos.
My man Badr featured in a Sapnish Radio interview, but frankly I have no idea what’s all about or what they’re talking about ^^;
Well done Badr and best of luck.
